Kites




A couple weeks ago we went to one of the Hudson River Piers and enjoyed the kite festival. At first there was zero wind, but within a few minutes the wind finally came and the ski was filled with so many different kites. It was very cool!

    I agree that kite festivals are very cool :-)

    Interesting photo of kites being flown from the pier - never seen anything like that over here (South Australia), where its all done from the sand.

    Great shot of the big cellular kite - looks like you were able to get in close! Or maybe you were using a decent camera with telephoto...
