Time Flies

It is really, really incredible how quickly time flies.  I've been glancing at photos of just a couple of years ago and I have a hard time wrapping my mind around the enormous changes that have happened to my kids.  They are growing up so very quickly.  I am so glad I take as many photos as I do because those memories, those moments in time are frozen for the brief second and I can revisit it and love that moment all over again.  I hold those moments in my heart.  They are so precious perhaps because they are so fleeting.

I spend a good portion of documenting our bits and pieces of daily life on instagram.  But I'm hoping to do a better job of chronicling a bit more of the details here again.  I miss the greater depth blogging can add to a story.

Here's a bit of a look at October this year.  Halloween is tomorrow, so perhaps it will deserve it's own post.

Last Days Living in NYC

Even though we returned from our major road trip adventures in mid May we continued to rent our apartment in NYC frequently during the summer, while we traveled in the northeast.  But our apartment on W 76th St was still our home, until we made the move to Westchester in September.  And at the time of these photos we didn't know, for sure, when or where (if at all) we would be moving.  Now looking at these photos (and finally posting them) in January, I'm a bit nostalgic for it all.

Summer Streets 2013

Anyone who knows us knows we are HUGE fans of Summer Streets.  When NYC closes down 7 miles of avenues for a few hours three Saturdays in August.  We love riding our bikes freely down Park Avenue and this year was no exception.  All of Brian's siblings and their kids came to visit (6 adults and 8 kiddos) and we had a blast!!!
