As I was diligently cleaning one room this was happening in another...
When I saw the disaster I almost yelled, "What the $%&@?!" But I didn't. I bit my tongue, laughed and grabbed the camera. Isabella sweetly proclaimed they were making me a birthday cake.
P.S. This happened a few hours ago and there is still a path of floury footprints leading to the bathroom.
P.P.S. Don't ask how this could happen since we only have 2 rooms in this tiny apartment...I don't know...I have a newborn.
oh man i feel your pain! i homeschool my kids so that i can enjoy them all the time, but i have to remind myself over and over again that i will miss these days when they're so cute and innocent even when they do things that drive you crazy.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but that is funny. And that kind of stuff happens to me ALL the time with all the rooms in my house. Sometimes I envy your two rooms. I have a great photo of Reuben and Timmy at about those ages, covered from head to toe in red toothpaste. And the bathroom was covered too.
ReplyDelete:) lol I completely understand
ReplyDeleteHaha! The best part is that Oliver already started eating your birthday cake.
ReplyDeleteIt's all a part of the motherhood experience, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a mother/child rite of passage....that and lipstick on the wall. I've done both.
ReplyDeleteoooh...lipstick on the wall. That's a good one. I'm told I put nail polish all over my sister's bedspread.
